Just came accross a load of bulbs I ordered from parkers late last year , tulips , bluebells, frittalarias, crocus, daffs and hostas. Would it be ok to plant them now ? or is it way too late

I would say it's fine ladybird, I've bought bulbs very cheap in January sales in the past & planted them & they generally come up really well. They might be a bit shorter & a bit later than normal but they should be O.K. It might be easier to plant them in pots though if the ground is very wet or frozen.

I've only recently done mine ladybird in pots and they are now all coming up I don`t know why I bother grindle I never plant anything on time . I sowed and grew several varieties of wallflower last summer , they are still seedlings in the seed tray and the broad beans and peas I bought from a local supple are still in their plastic bag .

I'm afraid I can be like that too, I still have perennials sitting around that I grew last year
