Last night the sky suddenly lit up brighter than bright and it was all flickery, discovered today that a meteor caused it I was in a dark room and the whole place just lit up. Just wish I'd been outside to see it.

I saw it on the news this morning, there was a ball of light, it looked great, but probably a bit scary if you were just driving along as some of the films shown were from inside cars!

I saw the pictures on the news tonight. It certainly looked spectacular. I've seen the odd shooting star now and then during one of the annual meteor showers, but nothing like that.

Did you hightail it to the drop zone to look for any debris, or did it all burn up before landing?

they did say last night that it was quite small only 10cm I would hate to see a big one falling The dinosaurs thought that, when they saw the bright light, then got years of dust, dark and starvation some 66 million years ago

He is lucky but it has taken him a lifetime to get them Some expert reckons any pieces landed off the coast, so nothing may be found, rosie.
