yesterday I was really surprised to see a Hummingbird Hawk moth feeding on the pansies I thought it had to be much warmer for them to appear

I've only seen them once or twice up here in high summer but they do say there may be some staying all year round now 'down south' where you are grindle. With the mild winter we've had they probably think they're on the Med in your garden!

I'm hoping it is because it's been mild this winter, I've seen them before but never so early thanks dianthus I've recorded my sighting
