Cresswell - Warkworth - Cresswell walk (23 miles)

This has been the longest walk so far and my feet will agree with that! A linear walk that starts at Cresswell beach and then on to the long curve of Druridge Bay before finally reaching Low Hauxley and on to Amble. "Well" said Ashley, "we might as well walk to Warkworth now we're here"...and then we had to walk all the way back!!!
At least the exposed petrified forest near Cresswell was worth a second look, remember, when you're feet are killing, the scenery becomes less and less appealing

We then headed back pretty much retracing our steps. Remember I mentioned that petrified forest? Here it is...
...well, one part of three sections. I'll have to go back. Supposed to be human and animal tracks in the partly fossilised peaty matrix that surrounds the wood.
