Hello everyone I am new to this forum and wondered if all you experienced gardeners can help me in identifying what type of bush this is from the photograph I've attached. Any help in telling me more about it would help too. It seems to grow well in my garden and I would like to buy more of the same bush. Thank you in anticipation. Jim Attachments:

Welcome to the site Jim. I`m thinking it could be Eleagnus ebbingei.

evans034 Hi Jim & welcome, it does look very familiar as though I should know what it is! Could be either of the above suggestions,or perhaps a large leaved variety of cotoneaster, does it ever get any small white or maybe pink flowers on or berries?

Thank you all. That's very helpful. I've not seen any flowers or berries on it Sue. The underside of the leaves are light beige and the upper parts of the leaves are shiny. The stems are also very light brown in colour.
