A little "pop-up blog" for your edification and amusement ! I play a MMORP game called "The Big Farm", in which you manage an imaginary farm; growing crops, milking cows, building barns etcetera. (No Onions where harmed in the playing of this game). As part of the game, you can join "Farm Co-Operatives", and it was in a Co-operative that I met a player called "ImTheBoss", who was interested in Rooftop Vegetables. So I offered to grow some "virtual vegetables" for her. So... here it is. Welcome to ImTheBoss's Rooftop Farm. As ever, the picture is posted onto the RoofNet, so you can click for a larger version.  As the weeks march relentlessly on, I'm hoping to post pictures of the progress of the plants, from seedlings through to harvest ! Sort of a "time-lapse" blog ? |

Interesting , do you give the plants to any one at the end or is it just the watching of them growing ?  by the way the cell tray on the left need watering  |

At the moment the idea is just to watch them, ladybird. .. and the cell tray on the left just contains weeds. Let them thirst, I say !  |

My whole garden is a virtual garden this year, roofgardener 
...... there is virtually nothing growing in it, bar the lawns and weeds in the veg plots...... except some self-sown rocket, which I will harvest before I go  |

There's a big difference between 'virtual' gardening & 'actual' gardening though Roofy as there is in 'virtual' farming & 'actual' farming - I can't really see you milking cows in the 'roofgarden' (& the owls wouldn't be too happy at sharing their space with new livestock) ! |
