They were flying constantly up and down the river in the sunshine. The sun went behind a cloud for a few minutes and they stopped flying. Luckily, I saw where one dropped down onto some ferns so crept up expecting to see it fly off. I started on zoom with camera but ended up inches away using my mobile phone camera. As soon as the sun came out, it was off again.
