Longest walk I've ever done and don't my feet know it. Took it's toll on all of us in slightly different ways but still wonderful. Great views, interesting plants and insects. Oil Beetle Lots of Tiger Beetles Not the best pic but large patches of Milkwort (Polygala vulgaris) Lousewort (Pedicularis sylvatica) Climbing Corydalis (Ceratocapnos claviculata) I was keeping an eye out for Stags Horn Clubmoss but didn't see any. Made do with another species which had lovely golden caps covering the spore capsules. As usual, lots more pics but just wanted to give you a brief highlight.

That's more than walking the marathon distance..... with rough terrain and a backpack! Well done to you and your companions Fractal
Beautiful views.

Lovely pics. Fractal, it's nice to look at the tiny details as well as the bigger picture isn't it. We went there years & years ago as well, think it was when we had a holiday in a cottage at Hexham.
