Nice jaunt along this part of the Scottish coast to the high cliffs of St Abbs before heading inland and back around in a loop to St Abbs before returning to Eyemouth. Grey and mizzley (is that a word?) at the start but exactly halfway it changed to a beautiful afternoon and was quite warm.
Just a few pic highlights.
Grey Seal in Eyemouth Harbour
Leaving St Abbs behind and climbing the path along the cliff edge
Sorry, forgot to take pics of the Lighthouse
Followed the road from the lighthouse inland and dropped down to the little bay of Pettico Wick with Mire Loch just inland from it.
Interesting rock formations
Had lunch, the sun came out...
Looking back north from St Abbs towards the cliffs we had set off for earlier in the grey drizzle.
Looks a lovely rugged coastline Fractal. I think a lot of the Scottish coast starts off with mizzle & then brightens up from what I remember of holidays up there!
