First of all they didn't collect our refuse this morning. They collected everyone else's in the road but not ours ... WHY ? It wasn't hidden - it was in full view as it always is. I told the council about it and they said it would take 3 days for them to come back to get it !
Then we went to a garden centre where there's a nice café ... but the café had closed.
So we went to another café near by which we often go to ... and I asked for two lattes and two toasted teacakes. But the girl behind the counter said 'We're not allowed to sell teacakes now'
Not allowed to sell tea cakes ? WHY ? What's the point of a café where you can't get a toasted tea cake ? The girl didn't know the reason why this was so ... so I said I'd make a complaint about it, and I will.
Then we went to Home Bargains, but when we came out another car had parked so close to mine that there wasn't enough room for Beryl's wheel chair to go by the door. I had to reverse out into the path of oncoming cars in order for her to get into the car.
I was glad to come home, but I couldn't go down the garden. It was cold and dark and miserable ...
Shall I say roll on tomorrow ? ... better not !  |

I thuink you need a weeks holiday to recover from all that Eli. I can't understand not being able to sell teacakes though. I love a toasted teacake, haven't made any for ages! |

Never mind Eli, even if they'd had teacakes they probably would have burnt them! Things will go better tomorrow - fingers crossed!  |

Reckon we've all had days like that EliNot sure about Cwmbran though as I haven't been there for yonks. I better not tell you about the time I had to drive to Swansea and it was only when I was half way there that I realised I had forgot the car. |
