This is the long flower bed when we came back to live here...it's a mess! From this... To this, its taken a couple of season but I think well worth it

Indeed what a transformation, it looks beautiful. how lond did it take rosie and did you resort to weedkiller. It took me 2 growing seasons to do it and not a spot of weedkiller ladybird, it was all taken out by hand. I did most of the digging, thats why it took so long. Graham put in the wooden posts and we put tight wires between them, there are climbing roses and clematis at the back of the bed so hopefully it'll be covered in flowers eventually

A beautiful transformation Rosie, it all looks so lush. That inspires me to carry on plugging away at my new garden. (Although it's not such a big one, it's needed every single inch sorting out!)
