Hello to you all! I found this gardening forum whilst looking online for places where gardeners swap advice etc. My family and I recently moved into a home with more space (and a polytunnel) in Northern Ireland and I have had some late success this season in growing a few things.. I have plans to grow a lot more now though. I don't really know how things work on this forum yet so I will endeavour to read through any instructional threads. Nice to meet you all!

Haha, so many cats! (I have three to choose from, and two dogs so I may have a revolving avatar, lol.)

We used to have a boxer dog years ago ziggy & Amy the cat in my avatar passed away a few years ago but I've kept her as avatar as I love that photo of her sticking her tongue out, I just make a fuss of every animal I meet now! Must be difficult gardening with your menagerie!

Welcome from me too. I still miss my polytunnel but have two greenhouses instead and 5 cats at last count. Some knowledgeable folks on here with varied experience to help out when required.

Hi there ziggy, and a warm welcome to the forum. What sort of things would you be thinking of growing in your POlytunnel ? Sorry for the late reply! I grew some tomatoes and corn in there this summer but right now it has a bunch of tree seedlings overwintering in it. Silver and paper birch, judas tree, laburnum, pin oak, cork oak, kiwi, and some other bits and bobs like lavender, rosemary, golden chain berries, wonderberries, radish and borage...all grown from seed. I love growing plants from seeds. I feel like there is a magic to it.
