Tad early for runners yet scotkat, they can grow like mad and soon need putting out but will not like cool weather

I agree with Steve far to early, for runner beans and french beans, once planted outside, it just takes one frosty night and you will lose them.

I have them growing under glass in my heated greenhouse and I only grow these in large pots not in ground.
