I paid a visit to Duddo stone circle yesterday (Thursday) as the weather was so lovely. I got to the general area around 2.30 in the afternoon and hoped to stay long enough to get a sunset too (sadly the sun dropped into murk in the west by 5.15). Anyway, here are a few pics of my afternoon in the area including the village of Etal and Ford which are nearby.
I'll post pics as soon as they are uploaded.

Never heard of Duddo Steve, please elaborate. It's an ancient stone circle just outside the village of Duddo in north Northumberland.

I'd left the stones as no sunset was to be had but did catch this sun halo about a mile away from them.

The stones look like hands thrusting up out of the ground don't they! I've never heard of them either, looks a good place for a walk. Pretty castle & villages too, lovely pics. Fractal.
