Very beautiful - somewhere I'd love to visit. That stone circle is interesting - is it very old, or something that just looks ancient by now?

Looks like you were lucky with the weather Fractal, lovely pics. We went there many years ago & to Bamburgh, we stayed in a cottage around there on holiday, must go back one day.

Very beautiful - somewhere I'd love to visit. That stone circle is interesting - is it very old, or something that just looks ancient by now? The stone circle is a recent thing. People are always (probably kids) piling stones up and writing names with them on the grass. The wardens are probably a bit sick of it. This one was quite impressive though.
