Well, my sister knew that SOMETHING had been getting into her utility room overnight, and stealing the cats food. The food bowls where all pushed around (and empty), a floor mat was rumpled up, and on one occasion, a small rubbish bag had been ripped open, and its contents scattered around.
Another Cat ? A squirrel ? A fox ?
The actual answer surprised us both !
The cat was pretty surprised as well !

Gosh ! ... lol ... I've never seen a live badger but I don't think I'd want one coming into the house

That's fascinating Roofy, clever badger too, I wonder how many other homes it sneaks into! Your sister could try one of those cat-flaps with a sensor on which only lets in her cat with a collar which unlocks it but I suspect the badger would just batter it's way through that. I love Belle's reaction - 'What the...??' P.S. your sister has a look of you doesn't she roofgardener.

Goodness me roofgardener! Perhaps the cat has known this badger since it was very small. I hope it doesn't try to chew it's way in once it becomes too large for the cat flap!

The badger looks like a babe to me.

Yikes. And that is why I am glad we have a cat-flap with microchip sensor! (Also I think the chickens would try to open it if it didn't...) I should think a badger could really make a heck of a mess if it wanted.

One of them ripped open a rubbish bag and scattered the contents around, and they push the food plates around a bit.. but other than that they seem quite benign. There have been more video's since then. One of the badgers appears to have a hurt leg, and is slightly limping.. but seems OK apart from them.

They'll be moving in permanently now that they know there's food & the cat doesn't bother them roofgardener!
