Thanks very much for these birthday wishes. I'll tell you how I have spent my birthday now. You know that I am a health walk leader. I lesd these walks round Blackleach Country Park. Up to now I have been doing them every other Thursday but I am now going to be doing them every Thursday from now on. Every so often though, we book a coach and go somewhere else to do the walk for a change. Today we have been to a country park called Brockholes, near Chorley which is 45 minutes drive away. We usually have three of these outings a year but this is the only one we have had this year .After all the bad weather we have had , it was a nice day today. We had a walk round first and then went in the café for our lunch. The café is in the middle of the lake with just a gangway to get to it and two mallards were walking round in the café. We had another walk after before leaving at 2.30. There were 44 of us altogether and they had all signed a card for me and sung "happy birthday" on the coach. We arrived back at Blackleach at 3.15 after what had been a very enjoyable day.
