a movement caught my eye this morning. thought at first it was a bird at the window but realised it was on the inside. anyway I opened all the windows but it just sat there, stunned I guess. Picked it up and held it by the open window but it just sat in my hand for quite a few minutes before taking off. I'm almost certain it was a wren although could be wrong. no pic as camera was in other room. ALSO, there's a moose loose aboot this hoose saw the little beastie behind the pedestal wash basin so humane trap set and positioned. never a dull moment round here.

Aww, the little wren probably just wanted some breakfast sweetpea, we have a robin who comes & stares at me through the kitchen window if I haven't put fresh food out & I sometimes have to pull the window almost shut if I'm in there cooking as I'm sure it would fly in if it spotted food! It comes down to grab a suet nibble treat when I'm putting them out if I call it - I just make little clicky 'tck, tck, tut, tut' noises & it flies down.
