I havn`t been on here much in the past year but jut wanted to let you all know that My hubby Peter died suddenly last week, just buried on Friday he`d been off sick for months and just got medically retired but was doing ok till that flu got him. He`d just ordered large pots and bought himself wellies, looking forward to joining me in the garden in a "no dig" way and promised me that new greenhouse I`ve been debating about for years . I didnt talk about him much on here only to say he was dangerous with the loppers . I used to hide them when he was on days off or hollidays and if I saw him staring into the garden ... I knew what he was thinking, anything sticking up more than 3 feet was fair game for a chop at any time of the year no matter if it was a rambling rose that I was training around the apple tree or the new plumb tree he gave an unnecessary and severe hair cut too.

That is such a shock for you ladybird. I can only copy Lou78W’s advice to use the healing power of gardening to help.

Thanks to you all for your kind words of sympathy. I will have more time for the garden now and I will do his pots for him and look after his raspberries and I will get that new greenhouse no more debating about it.
