I have noticed on one Dahlia which is planted with others to make a border edging. Its the Dahlia at the end of the RH end. I will see if I can get a close up photo tomorrow morning. There is no sign of it on any other Dahlia in the Garden. I have never seen any thing like this before. Keith

Hi Keith Some dahlia varieties are susceptible to mildew. I'm assuming you don't lift these border dahlias? Were any of the leaves showing any distortion?. If so it will probable be a virus, in which case the plant needs to be lifted and destroyed before it spread to the other plants. If no sign of this, it could be weather related. If the plant is old it could be signs of "old age" lol. If the plant shows signs of mildew this coming season, just use a proprietal fungicide, or to be on the safe side, start spraying once new growth appears. Hope this help

Lou I replanted all those mid Nov 2017 for this season. It was bought as a potted plant. Easily replaced and new soil added to that area. I have to redo that area when they finish flowering as I will be replacing that plastic edging with solid timber. Keith
