Saw a couple of the cats acting suspiciously under the caravan and it turned out they had a slow worm. it was more than a bit awkward to effect a rescue as it was right in the middle where I couldn't quite reach it but I got a flat board and had to lie prone and shuffle under with about an inch clearance but somehow managed to get it and release down the garden where hopefully it will have learnt to keep out of the way of cats.
the cats round here are always catching them, such a shame 
Never seen any slow worms around here although I suppose there must be some.
