Who are the Aussies and where do they garden I live 75k south of Melbourne only a few K from the Coast where next landfall is the south pole. Keith I think there is a long way to go from landfall to the pole but I'm not complaining just being a little pedantic All my lot are in NSW and last time I was there the temperature at night was down to -7C and I thought it was a hot/warm country. Must remember to pack a parka next time. One of my friends there

Sweetpea
It has its advantages living so close to the coast. In the hot Summer we are guaranteed of a cool southerly breeze in the early evening.
On nothlely it often blows a smog to us and the southerly just blows it back again.
The biggest advantage is practically no air pollution nice clean fresh air practically every day.

keith that is not the advice given to Queenslanders. Death Adders are aggressive and stamping to cause vibration or a noise will not scare these off. It works for all the others. I had a python fall out of a palm tree when pulling the dead branches out. It was huge and gave me such a fright, but they just go away. It was also just outside my flat.

We had a baby emu which was kept warm in the Esse slow combustion stove. When she grew up, she started wandering and often crossed the road, so we put her to Heallesville Wildlife Sanctuary. When the family visited her, we handed her a sandwich from the bag of sandwiches which was our picnic. Esse picked out the bag from under my husband’s arm and ignored the proffered sandwich. She then took off with our whole picnic.
