Why do I have to Log on every time considering I tick the Rember me
I am on another Aust forum that has the same Provider and I do not have to log on, in fact its the only Forum I have to do this.

I've no idea why that's happening keith, do you 'log out' each time, I don't bother to do that & never have to 'log on'. Perhaps steve can come up with a suggestion. |

That is very annoying keith and this did not happen to me when I was in Australia. However, it happened every time recently and I wonder if it was because the IPad was linked to the iPhone which was old and giving up the battle for life. I have just got a new iPhone and I no longer have to log in. This is just my experience. I think steve may be able to say which buttons to press because he Is a techie whizz.. |

There are that many gadgets these days that you can view the forums on I can only say what works for me really, On the occasions when I have needed to log back on I have noticed I have to do it every time unless I have checked the remember me box? but you are saying you do this Keith, the only other thing I know that makes a difference is what you are using as a browser, Internet explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and the Edge, some ask to remember your passwords for you and some don't
I am using a laptop and also look in on an Ipad and never have this problem?

Just tried changing my password to see if that helps. Never had the offer of Remember me on here.

No, still had to log in. Told Firefox to remember password. No effect.

On my tablet screen, on the log in page, just under the Username is a tiny little "remember me" tick box ....I've only just found it!😁 Seems to be working so far...

I am using Chrome and it saves passwords.
I manually moved it across to saved and see if this helps.
I will know after I turn my computer off today and back on tomorrow.

After I moved "Garden-friends.co.uk" across to the Saved Cookies it worked.
It looks like it's a job for the Admin and Provider to check the "Remember Me"
