I've had them before in my garden, but bought them in leaf previously. This year I thought I'd have a go at growing them from scratch. So, I planted four different varieties at the beginning of April, all in individual pots, kept them in the GH, and brought them outside about a week or two ago when it started to warm up, put them in a sheltered spot up against a South facing wall.
Nothing seems to be happening π....not a sign of growth, or a snifter of a shoot πππ Am I being impatient? Should they still be in the GH...? Or have I bought a bunch of dead looking bulbs/ corms/ roots from Parkers? (They were very weird looking things! Maybe I planted them the wrong way up...?) Any advice appreciated π

Patience dear woman, if they haven't grown by next year assume they are dead. Actually once they do start they are pretty fast growers as I recall.

My one-and-only canna is growing now, has been for about 2 weeks, but I kept it in the greenhouse all winter and it's still there. They will go like crazy once they do get going, like Sweetpea said.

Thanks S.P. and Bess βΊ No sign of anything happening yet, but I'll try and be patient π
