Blimey - I used to like reading all about your gardens and fitting the name to to forum name! I can't believe they sacked Steve too! At least a few people will still be writing. It will be interesting to see what the changes to GN are going to be. I suppose nothing ever stays the same.

I'm confused!
the forum is running now, and I must admit that it has been a while since I went on (not really been well enough to do anything garden related even to think about it). so I wasn't aware it had closed down.
I did get an email fron GN saying that the royal mail still had a back log of post from the pre christmas snow, so there could be delays in getting my copy. which is a little hard to believe!! I know the royal mail is slow but surely not that slow.
So thats why you started this forum? they must have realised how stupid it is to upset regular readers as the forum al be no recent posts is open.
Piskie sorry re your mums illness I know how hard it must be for you.

I know there's nothing I/we can do about it, but I send you all my sympathy at the way you've been treated. I'm wondering if there's a connection between this and the forum closure? I think there must be Geranium. I can't be bothered to look back at the complaints in the old forum thread but do wonder if all the people who complained have been dropped? I also wonder if Tim at AG needs anyone ;D |

I also wonder if Tim at AG needs anyone ;D Ooh, I hadn't thought about that Steve, I moaned a bit about not getting magazines & I've been dropped after 7 years of writing for them, I didn't know anyone had been kept on at all, are they just going to do the feature once a month with all four contributors or one each week? |

It may not be the people who complained about late deliveries, because Lou was asked in December if she would be alright to stay on.

That is ironic Piskie  The ones left are myself, Grindle, Derek, Esther. I think they have chosen specific areas to have contributions from.... These are the ones left Cherry, I think they just want one from each area, I think also we may be looking too much in to the complaints as I know Derek did have a grumble now and again on the thread about late deliveries |

I was upset when I found out how many people were not writing now - I thought maybe the numbers were going to be pruned down to 3 a week  It has been cut to two people per week |
