My camelia has gone brown with this heat will it still survive now it started raining or is it to late

There's not much you can do other than wait & see I suppose joysie21, you could scrape a little bit of the 'bark' on the stem to see if it's still green underneath to check it's alive & if it is give it water & plant food. It might drop some of the leaves & produce new ones next year but it probably won't flower very well if at all next spring as they need plenty of water in the summer to build up buds for next year.

My camelia has gone brown with this heat will it still survive now it started raining or is it to late Hi joysie if it's exposed to the sun to much they can burn but mine went through a process after flowering...I got new growth of leaves and the old ones dropped off slowly and some looked burnt but mine is exposed to a lot of sun but it's now getting flower buds on it for next year....how is yours now?
