Not usually a gardeners best friend but we've always felt blessed to have badgers visiting our garden. We used to feed them and they eventually got used to our smell and the camera flash. The one in the first image only wanted peanuts and ignored grapes. (Anne told me off for encouraging her into the house ) The one in the second image only wanted grapes and was so gentle she would take them from my hand. Unfortunately there's always a rogue individual that starts major excavations in the garden so we stopped encouraging them and now we just have the odd one passing through. Paul.

What beautiful photos rustynail ! I think I would have been tempted to feed them as well but I don't think the neighbours would be happy if they started digging up everyone's lawns, the only ones I've ever seen around here have been dead ones by the roadside a couple of miles away.
