Terrascapes is a full-service landscape design and build firm that creates gardens inspired by natural beauty and a sense of meaning. Our goal is to design landscapes and gardens that reflect your unique lifestyle and allow you to balance your busy schedule with outdoor enjoyment.
The terrascaping would be at the terrarium and paludarium what aquascaping is at the aquarium , consisting of carving the landscape of an exotic terrarium to recreate an existing natural landscape. It is called terrascape in association with the hardscape , the earth part (or earthy) drawing up the plant inventory.
However, the word terrascaping is widely used in English, it is more general and by artistic construction, the terrascaping specializes in the creation of outdoor living spaces that are dreaming. The terrarium is not the object of this art.
In English, the various terrascapings do not apply only to the animal domain, but to the man to build a zone of peace of peace in the open air to relax, eat and be entertained. Some use the expression of landscaping too.

Still confused. My three Terrascapes are all in old glass Aquarium tanks. The first you might consider it a big open tank no lighting with a few plants. It was on a low platform in front of a window never a real success reason it became a Cat Box and it started to stink. When I pulled the 5ft Aquarium down I started the first true Terrascape, the second was a small Bay Window tank several attempts but nothing work, finally I think I have it mastered.
Like Gardening you are learning all the time. The latest is a medium sized Bow Fronted Tank.
My first post will be what they looked like as Aquariums
I called it "Placidity" because it looked so peaceful. I was lucky enough to win an International Aquascaping Competition.
This one never had a special name. It was selected for an Australian Calendar several years ago.
The small 45lt Bay Window tank
Next post will be where they are today.
