was tigying up round the g'house area and when i picked up a seed tray there was a bunch of slow worms under it. not sure how many so i replaced it rather than disturb them too much.

I've got one keeps appearing in the border, think it's hiding in the ivy, but it's not shown its face since it got colder, maybe now its warming up I'll see it again, shame the cats round here use them as toys

Wonder why they are called sloworms. bit of an oxymoron that. Mind you we have a lot of oxymorons in the garden, white bluebells!

my sloworm was hanging precariously on the edge of the steps so moved it onto the border in the sun, it's quite a good size and hopefully will stay

sometimes they shed part of their tail if they feel threatened but 've only seen this when a cat has been having a go and never when I've picked one up.
