In today's Garden News there is an article regarding Alan Titchmarsh's new gardening programme. It will be launched on ITV in June.....the start of a 12 half hour series....Friday June 10 at 8pm......just before Gardeners World!!
They are looking for some real-life gardens to feature in the new show.......the criteria is..... Is your garden the envy of your friends?
does it have am amazing story to tell?
Do you have window boxes that turn heads or baskets that stop the traffic?
Do you have great displays from re-using garden materials, bargain hunting and creating beauty on a budget?
Have you turned your garden into an amazing outdoor living space?
Do you use it to attract interesting wildlife?
Is your garden a source of industry, supplying produce or flowr arranging material?
Do you know smeone who is creating amazing sculpture or furniture for the garden?
I'm sure there are some gardens we see on the forum would fit the bill.....why not make it a double WF and appear on both programmes? ;D

I know I read the piece & thought of Esther, W.F. & Mothergoose from the old forum as great examples of the sort of thing they're looking for. They're especially keen on small gardens which pleases me as I like to see what can be done in a tiny space, not all of us have acres to play with (29ftishx17ftish). ;D

You should send some photos in Sue. You are not only great at photography but your garden is great too. Perhaps they do want more 'normal' sized gardens.

No chance, I'm not as brave as you & I can barely fit in the garden by myself let alone A.T. & a film crew! ;D The garden doesn't exactly look good at the moment either (that's why you get a lot of 'close-up' pics. from me ;D) it needs a bit of taming & sorting out.
