Hello all. I’m after some advice after I seemed to have made a very stupid mistake . So my dad passed away a year ago and I have recently emptied the house. For almost as long as I can remember ( 30 + years ) he had a very large ( I believe it to be a money plant / jade plant ) and two cuttings grown in 2 small pots in his kitchen. I thought it would be nice to take these home and look after in our house. However I stupidly forgot about the plants and left them in the car over night. The next morning the plants were suffering the effects of frost damage. I quickly took them inside and left them in our warm kitchen for 24 hours but they were as good as dead. I was advised to cut them right back which is what I did and today I noticed a couple of very small shoots starting to grow. Can anyone offer me any advice as to what I should do now ? Shall I just leave well alone and let them recover or is there anything I can do to help the plants ? Have I done more damage cutting back like I have ? Many thanks all

Looking at those pictures robbo81, I think they'll re-grow from those shoots, it's just going to take time as they are pretty resilient plants.

Do you think the plant will look odd in the way it will re grow ?? I was hoping to get some new slightly larger pots but maybe I should wait for them to re cover before I do. At least it is showing signs of early recovery. Thanks

I think they will regrow too, might look a bit odd for a few months but it should take off and recover back to normal next spring / summer
