My sis-in-law said she's not putting their Christmas tree up this year, they have a very tall artificial one covered in 'collectable' decorations & have a 7 month old black labrador puppy!

Oh dear SueA. It’s is not just the price of the puppy, you must factor in the damage in the first year or so. Your SIL is obviously aware.

She brought him round to see us yesterday Cherry, he behaved very well here, only nearly swept our tiny Christmas tree off the table with his tail & searched through the rug looking for crumbs - he has a sensitive stomach so isn't allowed treats, very sweet little boy, I think he might have been worried I was a vet by the way he looked at me!

What a lovely dog! I would give up the Christmas tree for him. He will soon get over his vandalism.

Cats can be just as bad when it comes to Christmas trees unfortunately

Cats are more delicate with their paws grabbing the lower decorations sweetpea. I miss my cat.
