Can i put this outside/ in the cold frame as its taking over the kitchen . Ive tied in all the long stems as it was all over . Its sent out another new shoot since i tied it back, it only takes a few days for it to be heading towards the sink . (Akebia quinata).

Oh and do any of you have experience with propagation? Ive read that you do this by trimming the low growth in spring. do i cut right up to the main stem? or leave some of the side shoot?.

That looks quite small to think of propagating it Floydie, but the easiest way would be to layer it.

The lower growth is trying to go to soil, I'll leave it and keep tying it in.

You can layer it easily, Floydie, once it's planted out.
