I have picked off 10 adult weevils in the past week, some with a torch after dark, and 2 committed suicide by connecting with my foot when they came into the house. Is there anything available which would kill them? Spraying would be easier if there is one.

Thanks steve. I have this one and use it in the soil for vine weevil larvae, very successfully, but didn’t realise it could be used for the adult vine weevil. I have a bad infestation and have discovered their favourite daytime hideaways, mainly under the lip of black pots, like the long shallow ones I use for salad crops. They don’t touch the lettuce and rocket thank goodness, but at night run straight to rose, camellia and rhododendron leaves. They like the beans too, but I won’t spray those of course.
