It's the same here as with sweetpea, but I did get my flu vaccination this afternoon with a nurse in the health centre - in and out, no waiting, no fuss at all ...

We can ring our GP to speak to a doctor between 10 and 12.30 and 2-3.30pm every day. Only then will the doctor decide if they need to see someone.

stay safe those of you who are heading for lockdown, at the moment we are still in the lowest tier but I wonder if that will be the case after the school holidays

Lockdown will be here on Friday for two weeks I believe, we don't have the three tier system in Wales. I have most of what I need re food (getting more used to shopping for one now) so I'll be hibernating and concentrating on my art and genealogy ... and maybe the garden if the weather is favourable
I hope everyone will stay safe and well.

Do you paint Eli? what medium do you use ? i`d love to see your work . I have always fancied a go at water colour ( that would be colouring in a drawing for me no talent here what so ever but that has never stopped me ) I have all the paints , brushes, paper, books videos......... this might be the time to have a go its either that or clean the house

I am regularly tested for Covid-19 by National Statistics and the result of my last one was negative for cvirus which is good, but my birth date was incorrect and the test date and time was also wrong. It was tested in the expensive Nightingale test centre. I didn’t bother pointing it out. Why do they bother? I think I would point that out to them Cherry, you might have got someone else's results by mistake, your date of birth is the main identifying piece of information within the various departments of the NHS, more so than your name nowadays, I noticed that when I had my broken wrist last year.

ladybird I use mainly watercolour pencils, coloured pencils and graphite pencils - both water soluble ones and 'ordinary' ones. I'm not very good with paints (not enough patience ha !) I'm trying to make a few of my own Christmas cards this year lol I'll try to find a few things I've done and show them in a separate thread.
I think you should give it a go if you have the stuff, you may be better at it than you think
