Thank you all for looking at my photos. I didn't walk so far today.
I didn't feed the horses sweetpea, there's a sign on the gate post asking people not to feed them. There are people in a nearby house that feed them every day with some stuff in containers, and they also have a big bale of hay which they keep nibbling at. I think the skewbald one is rather old.

I hope the horses enjoy your apples sweetpea. I used to get horse manure from a chap who kept some on the side of the mountains near here but I don't have such a big garden now.
Do take some photos lesley, I love to see the sea when it's rough

Is it already aged and ready to pick up, or do you have to work at it? I am told it is well rotted but I haven't been to this one previously. Offered the use of their wheelbarrow and fork/shovel but I always take my own and my ramp to load the trailer. Will update you later.

You've given me inspiration there Eli. I'm supposed to be taking walks to help my leg recover, but I've kinda forgotten to do so. Well, after seeing your photo's, I'm going to get my zimmer frame out and take my camera with me
