I told ladybird I'd show some things I've drawn so here they are ... They're not brilliant, but I did them for an art forum I belong to. I have several 'better' ones on half, Maybe I'll finish them one day
1 Talley Abbey, pencil sketch - it's near where I live :- 2 Talley Abbey again, a different view (done with watercolour pencils) :- 3 Sunflower (done with coloured pencils) :- 4 Red Panda (done with coloured pencils) :- 5 Kennixton Farmhouse, It's a building seen in the Museum of Welsh life near Cardiff. It was originally a ruin in the Gower peninsula, and was rebuilt stone by stone at the museum in the 1950s. (done with watercolour pencils) :- 6 A cat's eye (coloured pencils) :-7 Two teddies, I had them when I was little. They live in a wardrobe and come out every Christmas, to sit in a basket, with tinsel around them ! (graphite pencil sketch) :- 8 Zebedee (coloured pencils) :- When I find better ones I'll show them, or if I finish a few half done ones I'll show those too

These are fabulous Eli and you have used very varied subjects. I like them all and that is a touching story about your teddies.

They're lovely Eli, have you ever drawn Bella, she'd make a perfect picture?

I like them Eli My other half is into art as well. Maybe I can find some pics of her stuff to show you. When she has done a painting she likes she takes it to local printers and they make postcards or greeting cards from them and they get posted as and when to friends and family.

Wow! This is the kind of stuff I love, especially the stories behind them. You are very talented they are so beautiful. My daughter does painting , mainly portraits in acrylics and they are really good. Me... I can`t draw for twopence but I used to love "paint by numbers" in my 20`s and colouring in the kids books I do admire anyone who can draw and paint.

Thank you all for looking at my drawings I belong to an art forum and they give you ideas of things to do every month, they call it the monthly challenge. Sometimes I do one or two and that's what these pics are.
I've never drawn Bella SueA, I think she'd be too difficult .
That's interesting sweetpea, it would be nice to see her work. I've started painting some Christmas cards for this year.
Your daughter's paintings must be good ladybird, when I tried doing a portrait it didn't look anything like the subject portraits are difficult things to do.

I think you could draw Bella Eli if you did it from a clear photo of her rather than trying to draw her from life, I used to do pet portraits that way. I haven't painted for years & haven't drawn anything since I broke my wrist last year as even my handwriting has gone to pot since then (it was my writing/drawing wrist I broke & have the metal plate in now).

Thank you lesley
I'm sorry to hear that SueA, I hope you'll be able to draw again one day. I may try doing Bella from a photo but I think she'll be difficult.
