Today we had a goldfinch burbling away on the chimneypot....he was going for ages..a lovely sound. AND the thrushes are back....

Rarely see a Brimstone up here but they're a sight to behold. In spite of the winter there's lots of birds this year, no Long tailed tits though

Actually it's a bit like Hitchcock The Birds at the mo as the farmer has spread something strong and the sky is full of Crows and Seagulls. A pair of Snipe went by chatting, The resident Magpies need shooting but the Doves are at it again. Can't find the Blackbirds nest site but I'm so glad it's chosen my Garden.
