I understand it can become a nuisance and spread quickly.

It can and does propagate rapidly in warm sunny weather. Today took pump out to clean it and guess what.........it fell into the pond Couldn't locate it so ended up having to strip down to 'Bare essentials' and get in as pump needs to be running. at least the water was reasonably warm. Took me ages to locate it as it had rolled into deepest part and my arms are only so long but got it sorted in the end' Only caught big toe on the concrete edge while getting out so claret everywhere and a sore toe. Sorry no pics You wouldn't want to see me in skivvies and covered in pondweed, might induce a heart attack!

at least it wasn't winter Wouldn't have been doing it in winter anyway. Do you remember those ice bucket challenge things? I did that but not ever again.

yep, that must have been in your carefree days then have to reline my pond when the weather gets a bit better, not a job I'm looking forward to

just ordered the liner sweetpea starting this week Will you completely remove the old liner or use it as an added layer of protection?

I'll use it as an under layer, I don't think I'd have the strength to pull the old one out
