My garden is too small at the back to support a lawn which is already there. I want to get rid of it and put a central circle of fine pressed gravel (I don’t know what it is called). What do I do with the lawn? Can I compost it upside down, or should I just get rid of it altogether by getting it on a trailer out to the farm at Southery?
I am ashamed of the large front garden which is covered in cement and stones. These are earmarked for disposal next. However, I am starting with the back.

As you say Cherry, stack the turves upside down on top of each other.

I agree, stack the turfs upside down and let them decompose. I did it with the lawns here and got some nice stuff to spread on the soil around the plants.
