The pond has really never 'gone to bed' this year and the fish have been active all winter. Not sure how many fish in there now but well over 30. Some are really pretty others less so.

Caltha palustris [marsh marigold] budding up nicely. Grown from seed collected in Wales many years ago.

Menyanthes trifoliata the bog bean starting to thicken up. I love the flowers of this plant. excellent for showing flower structure.
