I`ve almost run out of venetian blind labels for the initial seed sowing. As you know I like to colour code each batch of tray labels to correspond with my records in my filing system . This is my new idea . They take a permanent marker well and unlike the PVC ones they also cleans up well with alcohol so will hopefully last me a few years. I managed to do a better job with the last ones pic below

Thanks Cherry. it took a good few hours to figure out how to make the shape. I found some in the garden from last year and they didn`t let the water in because I left a good edge of lamination around it, though the sun lightens them a bit. I still use the ones with the pictures.

ladybird Those labels are fantastic! You should go into business & sell them yourself!

Thankyou all for your kind comments . If anyone has page plus and wants a copy of the file to print and laminate blank labels on cardboard themselves you are most welcome . I have permission from several seed companies like T&M and MR. Fothergill to use their images for personal use only so can`t cant sell my labels or send the picture ones but I could sent a blank one and anyone can inset a picture they have saved on their own computer .
I might take some picture of my own this year, especially of the tomatoes and make some HUGH labels for next year.

I love your idea & would take you up on your offer but our printer doesn't work. It did work perfectly well until we changed our internet provider. We were pleased that it printed out pictures from our mobile phones

Love your labels Ladybird. Well done. I use plastic milk bottles cut up and make labels from those. Works well but nowhere near as good as yours with the lovely pics.
