I'm having a small extension built on to my kitchen (where there was once a cold damp cobwebby conservatory) ... and when the builders were digging the foundation they came across some old pipes.
They were going to throw them away until to their surprise I said I wanted them.
I've used them for planters and thought some succulents would look nice. At the moment they are small but I hope in time they'll cascade over the edges 🙂

excellent re-use of some good structural materials. They will quickly fill the tops, lovey selection of succulents.

Eli They will make good & original plant holders in your garden & the succulents you have put in them should look very nice in a year or two once they have matured enough to flow down the sides. Congratulations on your idea & for doing your bit for recycling of what would otherwise have been thrown away!
