Love that white bicolour pelargonium in your last pic. balc2, very pretty, & the self sown morning glory is lovely too!

grindle SueA Thank you & I'm glad you like these flowers! The bicolor Pelargonium is very pretty & that is the name that was on the label when I bought it many years ago.

Your roses are magnificent, Eli! But then so are the rest of your flowers as well! The Everlasting Sweetpea poking out from the Contonester looks very nice, too!

The balcony is showing signs of getting ready for autumn! I haven't had such a good year as last year but even so I have had a good showing, especially from the Geraniums. The red ones, mostly double red, on the balcony railing have flower very well in spite of the fact that the majority were old plants! Some younger "blood" would have been appreciated but they flower even though the stems are twisted & produce little new growth. The flowers also last quite a long time but the petals don't fall off as they do on the single flowered ones. They just dried out & turn black until I remove the spent blooms. But if it rains then they go all soggy & horrible & then I have to remove the heads much sooner. So generally they turned out to be a good choice because of the long hot & dry weather we had. I had intended to put Petunias there but I was too late trying to buy any!
