Our eldest girl, Elizabeth, got married on Monday. The day was lovely and the rain held off until all photos had been taken. A very long day as we were up at 5am mainly due to excitement. Her sister Victoria took some photos on her phone, groom and bride, bride and parents and her and her fiancé Dan. Official photos will come in about 2 weeks time.    They came home in the Rover driven by dad and I followed in my car with all the things left from the wedding. |

I like that chap's long hair. I think the shaved heads men have got these days look stupid.

I agree about the candid shots, most of ours were taken by guests.
That made me laugh Hywel as Steve used to have hair long like Dan's. Matthew had some long and some shaved when they first met but he has a more grown up style now.

No Lesley, I didn't make her dress. I'd have liked too but Elizabeth had her eye on this designer. And to be honest I don't think I would have made a good enough job.

seaburn, lovely to see some photos of the happy couple! I hope they will be wed for many happy years!  When our grandkids were here yesterday we were talking about weddings & my wife found a photo of the moment when we were waiting to take our wedding vows - 48 years ago!

Our wedding was rather unique as we were married at the same time as a cousin of hers who she had a great relationship for many years. People stopped & gawked at the 2 brides getting out of the same car!!  |
