I read the lesson at church this morning .It was part of Exodus chapter 24 about Moses on mount Sinai receiving the tablets of stone on which the ten commandments were written .It was a coincidence that I was asked to read this because I know a joke about it and was afraid of bursting out laughing when I was reading. I thought I would tell you the joke.
This particular church had a new minister who claimed that he could preach a sermon on any subject at a minutes notice. Of course, the stewards didn't believe him. So he told them to write a subject on a piece of paper and give it to him just before he went into the pulpit to preach the following Sunday, so that is what they did. There was only one word on the paper , constipation. So he went in the pulpit to preach and said "My text this morning is Exodus Chapter 24,verse 18 "And Moses took the tablets and went up into the mountain"
