As the garden make over has featured in recent photos and threads I thought I'd share a few photos taken by her sister on the day. No official ones for at least 6 weeks. Firstly the cake: design request British wildflowers and butterflies found in Yorkshire. Red Campion, ragged robin, wild parsley, dandelion clock, willow catkins wild cherry, bramble and ferns. Holly blue butterflies and one at rest, complete with legs and antennae, small tortishells and a peacock. The bride had gypsophilia as her main flower choice. Threaded through her hair and in a massive bouquet. Toria and Dan just after they had cut the cake. We had a fun and happy day. The ceremony was outside and the chilly wind was offset by the sudden burst of sunshine, the skylargs in full song, lambs bleating and a bumble bee droning in the back ground.

That's a marvellous wedding cake! Your daughter looks so lovely with the flowers in her hair & the bouquet in her hands! Glad the sun came out for the couple & let's hope that's a sign for a good & long marriage! Lovely to see the happy couple!

You had a wonderful day and congratulations to the happy couple The garden is perfect and the cake looks lovely, it's a good idea to have something related to nature. I'm glad the groom has kept his nice hair, he looks natural (unlike those stupid-looking haircuts many men have these days) And Victoris's hair is very attractive with the Gypsophyla threaded through it, a lovely idea

Thanks Balc and Grindle it was a very emotional day. Dan is also a wildlife conservationist so the cake was his choice too.
Hywel, I remember you saying you liked Dan's longer hair when I posted photos of Elizabeth's wedding back in October. I agree the shaved sides that seems so prevalent these days is just too severe. Steve accidentally got one of those at a Turkish barber, it took 6 weeks for the sides to grow enough for it to be done properly.

The wedding couple look marvellous and the cake is a real work of art. I like the flowers through Victoria’s hair and picked up in the bouquet. All in perfect taste. Congratulations to the wedding couple.
