Love the clematis Eli, apart from the Montana one I've only got one flower out on my others so far! 😊

Yesterday I planted an Avocado stone in a pot in the kitchen. I seem to remember doing the same once upon a time when we lived in Spain. I think it grew for perhaps a year & became almost a mini-tree! I don't remember what happened to it but it must have died at some point. If this one germinates I'll keep a better record of it!
I'm not expecting to get any fruit from it!

Out of curiosity I did a search of the Internet & found an interesting page here:
I will have to take the stone out of the pot it's in otherwise it may take up to 8-10 weeks to germinate! It really needs to be sitting over a glass jar to make it root a lot quicker.

lesley, that's a shame! I love roses but can't grow them here on the balcony, at leat not the bush varieties with their thorns! There just isn't room to turn around hardly! It's only 1.5m wide! Though i do have a rose trained on the wire outside the balcony railings. It finished flowering a week or so ago.

Thanks all, I couldn't live without roses even though some of them are beautiful monsters with thorns! 😊

Gorgeous flowers grindle , is that a slow worm? I think it looks more like an earthworm.
