I have been given by a friend two Campanula Glomerata - Hardy Perennial. The problem I have is that there are so many varieties. Any general advice would be welcome on how to look after them like the general care and tips. Thank you.

Welcome mego. Glomerata is a lovely Campanula and quite easy to look after. In fact, it takes hardly any looking after if it is planted in good soil and not facing extreme heat. We would love to know about your garden. Is it new or established?

Thank you for your welcome and about Campanula. My garden is small and I am in the process of a revamp. I am eighty so I am concentrating doing more in containers.

welcome from me too.
I have several varieties of this very un-fussy plant. I love it.
if it is in a pot it will need plenty of water if it is dry and sunny. It is happy in full sun or partial shade.

My garden is small and I am a similar age mego, but have taken the view that just a few very large pots with shrubs are better for me so I can leave my garden to look after itself in order to visit my family. The garden was meant to have a mainly blue and white palette, but has degenerated into any plant that will put up with the freezing and then hot winds is welcome. I am still learning and still making mistakes.
