Thank you both ... it looks nice in a hanging basket but this year I've only got one bit in a pot.

I also have a few snapdragons hanging on. They are such cheerful plants, takes me back to childhood plants.

Eli those Mums look lovely! As my wife doesn't like Mums I don't grow any on the balcony - though I do like them! They take her back to when she was a child in Spain & people took lots of them to the cemeteries - especially on 1st November. So for her they represent sadness.

'Peruvian Lily' (Alstroemeria) 'Summer Breeze' it's last buds of 2023 just opened today on the balcony!

Will the plant survive the winter in a pot on the balcony without extra protection? This is the first time I've ever grown them.

I think some of the newer varieties are less hardy, sadly.
